Service Description

Does your child ever wonder where all our energy comes from and what would happen if we run out? Get your kids thinking about our precious resources and all the conveniences of modern life that has come from mankind understanding and harnessing energy. Perfect for beginners and seasoned tinkerers alike, we bring kids on a scientific discovery of electricity as a type of energy. We also teach them the importance of safe-handling, conserving energy and preserving our future by relying more on renewable energy sources. During this course, students will build different electronic circuits using component such as LEDs, buzzers, crocodile cables, batteries and more! They will learn the advantages and disadvantages of parallel and series circuits, as well as make their own wearable tech. After this course, students will understand the basics of electricity and how it fuels our critical technologies. Topics covered during the course include the following: Science - electrons and charges - circuits (series and parallel arrangement, short circuits) - polarity - switches - conductivity Tech - wearable tech - design thinking Fashion Design - shape, form, function & colour During term time, this 15-hour course is conducted over 10 lessons of 1.5 hours each. Cancellation Policy

You are entitled to reschedule if you notify us at least 7 days prior to the course start date. The first reschedule is free, subsequent changes are subject to a $50 admin fee. No refunds, no rescheduling and no store credit will be given for any cancellations received less than 7 days prior to the course start date.
